Lit from above by a domed roof light, this large cantilever staircase was commissioned to be the centrepiece to project involving a full regeneration to an existing property.

The stone staircase was designed to connect the existing and new levels, continuously running from the basement to the second floor with circular landings. Spiralling through the centre of the house, each tread was built into the curved masonry wall at one end and sits on the back of the tread below.
