In 1979, Adam began his apprenticeship as a Stonemason at Fountains Abbey. This time however, he joined The Worshipful Company of Masons to give a talk on the life and times of a stonemason.

Adam is also Deputy Chair of the Craft and Training Committee, continuously striving to increase and improve the industry’s training provisions.
